There is only one more day left in Biketober. We hope you got in all the spooky miles your heart desired 👻🎃. The MWR ATL teams (Tots, Peach, Possum, and Spicy) kept it going all month in a friendly competition to see who could get the most points/miles. Collectively, they cycled almost 5,000 miles. The MWR ATL Group as a whole tracked in 3rd in the overall leaderboard and did almost 9,000 miles! You can see the leaderboard results here.

In case you did not hear the news, Atlanta Beltline Inc has secured the land required for all 22 miles of the trail loop after two decades of work. It is a major milestone and the loop is officially to projected to be finished by 2030. You can read more about it here. Be sure to leave a comment on the Beltline Transit Study by November 3rd here.

The Piedmont Avenue Complete Street Project is currently under construction from Ponce de Leon Ave to 15th St. The project will include new curbs, drainage structures, sidewalks and a protected one-way northbound bike lane from Ponce to 14th. You can read more about it here.

11/08 - The last Atlanta Streets Alive for 2026 will be taking place on Sunday, November 8th as a partnership with Westside Stride. You’ll be able to bike, walk, scoot, and stroll. See you out there! Find out more about it here and here.
