Hiya {{first_name | bike pal}},

With fall in the air and another Friday upon us, it’s time for the next volume of the Saddle Up ATL newsletter!

We are so happy you are here. Thanks to y’all, our lil’ newsletter has grown to 262 readers and over 635 followers 🙌. If you like what you see please give it a share.

We are officially in day 2 of the Biketober challenge. There is still time to sign up, rack up those miles, and get entered for prize drawings during the month of October. Be sure to join the MWR ATL group and one of our challenge teams such as Team Tots, Peach, or Spicy! Links are listed here. Sorry, Team Possum is all full up.

See you out there,

Congrats to Outback Bikes, who is celebrating 40 years as a family-run bicycle shop in Atlanta! They have been a staple of Little Five Points offering bicycle service and sales with plenty of gear and accessories to boot. They even have rental bikes in their Hapeville location (that can also be picked up at their L5P location for a nominal fee).

Save the date for their upcoming Thirsty Thursday Education event being held on Thursday, 10/15. Events will include a presentation of cyclists’ rights by Bruce Hagen of Bike Law Georgia at 11AM, followed by a safe cycling instruction course with Karen Minvielle of The League of American Bicyclists at 3PM.

Be sure to cheer them on as they roll/march in the upcoming Little 5 Points Halloween Parade on Sunday, 10/18 at 1PM.

MWR ATL and Saddle Up ATL are not responsible for any ride other than our own. Ride at your own risk.
